About Us

Welcome to the Dinos. We are a welcoming group of athletes. We aren't affiliated with any US Masters Swim group but follow all masters etiquette such as arriving late, chatting when we should be swimming, pulling on the lane lines during kick sets and wearing paddles even when the set doesn't call for them.

We have swimmers of all ages from recent college graduates to the patriarch of the team, who is 66. We also welcome all abilities from Division 1 swimmers to people just trying to get in shape. We also have numerous triathletes on the team and share tips on biking and running.

We got our name when several of us put together a relay to race the high school swim team who sometimes shares the pool with us and one of the high school swimmers said "No way are we going to lose to those dinosaurs"!
